You can say a lot of things about the Web Design/Internet Marketing Reach IT program at CPCC:

  • it was a LOT of material to cover
  • It would make your brain explode
  • you learned a lot!

But the one thing you can definitely say: It was fun!

For pictures…

The program ran from the first week of October to mid-December and gave the students an in-depth exposure to:

  • Adobe Photoshop – in web design
  • Adobe Dreamweaver in HTML editing
  • Principles of Web Design – ease of navigation, color theory, typography, information flow, etc.
  • HTML – coding, structure, elements, terminology, some responsive design, etc.
  • CSS – customizing look and feel via cascading style sheets
  • SEO – search engine optimization basics
  • PPC – Pay Per Click ad strategies & tools
  • Email Campaigns – email systems and customization
  • Blogging – customization
  • Analytics – tools to analyze traffic

While that was a great deal of material to cover in 15 class sessions, we also tried to make it fun. You could often hear laughter coming from the class. Learning is easier when it is fun.
