Web Design Classes at CPCCThis Spring, if you are looking to increase your skill set (to get a better job or better your position in your current place of employment, or to just find a new job), CPCC (Central Piedmont Community College) in Charlotte, NC, is offering a few courses that help you do that.

Feb. 3 – Web Designer Certificate

Learn more about web site design & development using Adobe Creative Suite 6 tools. This course is part of the CPCC Continuing Education Web Design Certificate Program. This class goes Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9am to 1pm, Feb. 3rd till March 26th at the Levine Campus. (WEB-7249-01). Register now!

Web Design Classes at CPCCMar. 23rd – Front End Jr. Developer

This is a two segment class that includes A.) Front End Web Design: HTML & CSS; and B.) Javascript & Jquery coding. The entire course runs from March 23rd to June 1st, Mondays and Wednesdays, 2pm – 6pm at the Levine Campus. (RCH-7252-01) The HTML/CSS segment runs from 3/23 – 4/22. Register now!

The Front End Jr. Developer course is part of the REACH I.T. Program, a scholarship set up to pay for courses for underemployed or unemployed people with an associates degree or higher, helping them increase their skills to make them more employable.

Learning HTMLMar. 31 – Design and Build Websites with HTML & CSS

From March 31st to April 23rd, CPCC’s Levine Campus will be offering and HTML course, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am – 3:00pm. This class will introduce you to HTML and CSS step by step, while creating a project. Use HTML to build structured webpages, add text, images, and create frames, tables, and forms. You will also use CSS to format and customize the look and feel of your website. (WEB-7211-01)

Paul’s decades of management experience focuses on marketing and Internet communications. Expert in social media, search engine optimization, email campaigns, blog development, graphic design, and web design, Paul excels in promoting organizations through the latest and most appropriate technological marketing venues.

Paul is president and Senior Consultant of Our Marketing Group and its parent company, Metheney Consulting, Inc. while Paul has been working in Internet management since 1993, Metheney Consulting has been providing clients with expert advice, consulting, and websites since 1997. Prior to working in Internet, Paul worked as a graphic designer and art director for nearly a decade as well as management in the entertainment industry.

With an MBA from the McColl School of Business at Charlotte’s Queen University, Paul is one of those rare individuals who combines a creative advertising & marketing design background with a profound aptitude for the emerging electronic media field and business.
