CPCC Students @ UX Meeting

UX_Meeting User Experience Designers Meeting & Panel

On Nov. 23rd, The UX Designers Meetup Group hosted a panel discussion at MyJive at NC Music Factory. The panel discussion  was about “Starting Your UX Career” and sponsored by MyJive, ettain & Wells Fargo. A number of Central Piedmont Community College (REACH IT) students attended. I encouraged my students to attend (my being there made it feel like a field trip!) to network and learn from people who have just gone through the career change process, getting into the User Experience field. The panel was well done and very educational for my students. I was happy to see some of them networking before and afterward.

One Suggestion

My only suggestion would be to start a little earlier so people attending could introduce themselves to help encourage networking.
